Keyword Density Checker
Paste your article and see which words and phrases you actually emphasize. Useful to check you are on-topic, and that you have not stuffed the same keyword 40 times (which Google penalizes).
What density should be
There is no magic number, but if a single keyword is above roughly 2-3% of your text, it reads as stuffed to both readers and Google. Aim for natural coverage: the main keyword a handful of times, plus lots of related terms and synonyms. Modern search ranks topics, not keyword repetition.
The better signal
Instead of hitting a density target, cover the subtopics your readers expect. The two and three word phrases below tell you what your article is really about. If the important ones are missing, that is what to add.
